Natural Community Areas are outdoor areas of land that are undisturbed or relatively undisturbed land and water which is characterized by native plant and animal communities. It is a remnant or human-made representation of natural ecological and geographic systems. This could include urban forests, storm water management facilities, naturalization areas, open water, human-made lakes and human-made streams.
