Precipitation collected from roadways, roofs and developed land makes its way into a network of pipes that convey the water to engineered storm water ponds to store water in rainfall events and act as the primary treatment sources. The water from there is released at a controlled rate in natural streams, rivers and wetlands.

This data represents footprints of buildings within Strathcona County. Buildings greater than 400 square feet were identified and roof corners were captured to create a polygon. The building footprints generated during the 2013 and 2015 ERJOI were updated using 2018 Lidar (captured in May 2018). The ground elevation comes from a DEM generated from the 2018 Lidar. The minimum and maximum roof elevation was generated from the DSM from the 2018 Lidar using 95% percentile values. Height and elevation values are in metres and the area is calculated in square metres.
