Single line representation of road bans (axle weight restrictions) in Strathcona County. Spring road bans are in effect early March to June (75% on most rural roads). Year-round road bans are in effect June to early March (90% on most rural roads). These are the "typical" times when roads are vulnerable to frost causing damage to our roadways. The Traffic Bylaw outlines weight restrictions in more detail http://www.strathcona.ca/files/files/at-tas-bylaw-13-2011-trafficbylaw.pdf.
