Single line representation of road bans (axle weight restrictions) in Strathcona County. Spring road bans are in effect early March to June (75% on most rural roads). Year-round road bans are in effect June to early March (90% on most rural roads). These are the "typical" times when roads are vulnerable to frost causing damage to our roadways. High load corridors consist of designated roadways within the Province of Alberta that have overhead utility lines raised to accommodate loads of up to 9.0 meters high unless noted otherwise.
