The 1 metre contour data was generated using the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) from the 2013 Orthophoto capture, which was based on the AltaliS 15 metre Lidar and the 1 metre lidar Strathcona County purchased. The 15 metre AltaLIS lidar has an accuracy of +/- 30 cm while the 1 metre lidar has an accuracy of +/- 15 cm. Because they are combined in the DEM, the accuracy varies depending on the coverage area.
